XYZ Reality required support to develop a new construction hardhat from initial concept through to a working prototype that could be tested on a real construction site. This was an important milestone to raise further investment and the technology needed to demonstrate sub mm accuracy with the real world. The challenge for this project was to ensure enough of the sensors on the hard hat could be in direct line of sight with the positional scanners at any one time. Several iterations were created to refine the design from user testing. Photos of product after initial prototype show the development the XYZ reality team made after investment.
