PROJECT OVERVIEW
During my time at Dyson, I had ownership of several critical assemblies on the DC24 upright vacuum cleaner—including the handle assembly and both versions of the combination floor tool. I led the design process from early concept development through to production handover, working closely with cross-functional teams. My responsibilities included detailed tolerance analysis on key components such as the ball housing and handle interface, implementing robust datum strategies, and refining parts for manufacturability. I also contributed to rig testing, FEA validation, and produced transfer-of-knowledge packs for manufacturing teams in Malaysia.
